Gustavs in Neumunster

Definitely the best restaurant in Neumünster. Very delicious food served by super nice staff. But as always the request for a larger vegetarian selection. Only pasta becomes boring at some point.

Great food selection

It may be that the food looks delicious, to some. But it is not and it is not very delicious to eat an immature banana in the banana split, what happens to chocolate pudding when it says it should be chocolate ice cream it did not do any good for dessert at all. When we asked for the bill you could feel on the staff that you were no longer interesting because they couldn't get more money out of one. All in all, a really bad experience will not come back.

Cozy atmosphere, very attentive service!

On the occasion of my wife's birthday we booked the table buffet in "Gustavs" for 10 people. As soon as we entered the restaurant we were pleasantly surprised. We were welcomed in a very friendly manner and shown to our table. The welcome cocktail was prepared without alcohol on request and was very well received by all of our guests. The table buffet itself was very tasty, varied and prepared with a lot of imagination, a complete success, so to speak. Although the restaurant was fully booked, Mr. Speer took the time to explain the dishes, the origin of the ingredients or the preparation to us. The service team served us quickly and very friendly. Not to be forgotten is the kitchen team, which played a key role in the success of this beautiful evening. Finally, many thanks again to the entire "Gustavs" team for this one exceptionally nice evening. We are happy to reserve again.

Amazing service, great interior. Being from Russia (Moscow) I am very hard to please as far as restaurants are concerned. I’ve been to over a 100 pricey eateries in my life span so far. I’ve seen better places, eaten better food but ... This is a truly cozy place that will linger on in your memory for quite a while. It has ab aesthetic of a good bar, enjoys relaxing ambiente, filled with dimmed light and intelligent conversations from a neighboring table. Waiters and waitresses are in good phisical shape oozing healthiness, they are neatly dressed, friendly, make jokes but stay respectfull, in one word - very professional - great respect for your work! A parking lot outside for car travellers like me. The combination of intelligent guests, well-mannered personnel, decent food fully compensates for the lack of a good view and a bit exaggerated prices.

Extraordinary pleasure experience (in our case table buffet), that the very high price absolutely justified. However, € 5.90 (in words five euros ninety!) For a bottle of wheat beer is a bottomless cheek! Completely confusing menu (motto: "50 Times By Gustavs" - what does that mean in German ???) and homepage. Differentiation from the restaurant 1500 ° based on the half board not recognizable. Friendly, hard-working staff.

Service was great. The staff even knows English..!!! That was really amazing..!! We had a great time. It's a bit expensive than others but the service and quality are really good..!!

Great ambience and very good food. We ordered the surprise menu for two and were surprised how varied and rich the three courses were. The service was friendly and courteous. If you want to experience a special evening with great food, Gustavs is a good choice. The prices are correspondingly high, but the food and the atmosphere there are absolutely worth it.

Highly Recommended. Top service, first class ambience and an excellent menu. The wine recommendation from the service was perfect. So can some upscale restaurants in large cities a slice of cutting off.

The food took more than one hour and 20min to arrive, the tables around that arrived later had all received their food before of us, nobody advertised us that was going to take such a long time. When we asked why was taking such a long time to arrive the food, the guy was quite rude with us and said that was because it's well made, without any sorry. The food when arrived was not a big deal in my opinion. We left the place very disappointed because we had high expectations. Maybe we had a bad luck but I will never come back there after this horrible experience, and the people with me said the same. I do not recommend.

We decided to have a spontaneous Saturday dinner, had heard of the restaurant 1500 ° and wanted to reserve a table there. The friendly lady at the reservation shared and with that because of an action night unfortunately all the tables are occupied and we were recommended the restaurant Gustavs. Best recommendation for a long time and that in Neumünster !!! The service, the atmosphere about the preparation of the food and the taste everything was perfect! If you do not feel like driving into the crowded Hamburg and still want to experience the flair of an upscale gastronomy, this is exactly right! We found our new Stammrestaurant!
